Let’s be honest: this itinerary and the next are very difficult, not for the length but for the features.
You start from Misano towards S.Giovanni in Marignano; here you take the road to Saludecio, crossing “S. Maria del Monte”. It is a quite strong climb through very nice villages that preserve medieval features in the streets, in the houses, in the doors and in the castles. It is a pity to have a superficial knowledge of villages like Saludecio, Mondaino, Montegridolfo or Tavoleto that I suggest you to visit. Remember that the descent to Mondaino, to climb then to Tavoleto, is to make carefully and in the next slope to Monte Osteriaccia the road surface can be bumpy. I am speaking of a difficult itinerary: these are true climbs, Monte Osteriaccia and Monte Altavellio will remain in your memories when you will reach the top for the first time. As happened to everyone. The landscapes are marvellous and from the top you can admire wonderful environmental beauties. When you reach the road of the valley, along the river Conca until Morciano, you will find a fork: keep the road to Riccione. Turn to the “Cella” towards the area of the racetrack to arrive, at the end, tired but satisfied, at Piazzale Roma in Misano. |
