Back and forth to the borderlands, between Romagna and Marche for a very interesting tour of a medium difficulty: This is the itinerary. The route offers a demanding climb, very beautiful landscapes, scenic views and the visit of many beautiful villages.
From the port of Cattolica there is a slope until you arrive at the first enchanting spot. The slope is hard, but you will admire the incomparable view of the “Riviera” from Gabicce Monte. The descent to reach Pesaro, crossing Fiorenzuola, is wonderful. In a direction or in another, there are people who have been running it since years, but never tired of admiring the environment and the small villages. An experience that makes you happy, always. From Pesaro, you go up towards the hinterland and once past Montecchio you take the fork to Tavullia, and then to Trebbio di Montegridolfo and Meleto. Now, at the fork of S. Rocco, you have to go up towards S. M. del Monte. Again a return to “Romagna”. It is just time to take the fork towards Tavullia, covering some kilometres in the “Marche” and descent again to “Romagna”. Here you find S. Giovanni in Marignano, and here is the beach of Cattolica. The title given to this itinerary is very well justified for the wonderful views from the highest points of the track, where you can admire both the sea and the valleys of the hinterland. It will make a lasting impression on you and, together with its spectacular features, will be worthy and not secondary part of the stories to be told your friends. |
