The route is pretty long but you can shorten it with a couple of diversions; it runs for 60% on dirt patches and for the rest on provincial and country paths. You cross some villages on the hills of the Rimini hinterland through green ad suggestive areas and with just a few steep climbs. From Rimini you proceed along the “Consolare” to S. Marino and at km 6, passed the pasta factory Ghigi you divert on the left to S. M. in Cerreto, then you turn right down a long dirt patch. The path climbs up to the hill and gets on to Cerasolo and here you find an asphalt road again. 3 km until the church. From here you start from a dirt patch in front of a small square that, downhill brings to a fork. Here you turn left until next fork and then right on to Mulazzano, where you can eat and drink. From Mulazzano, on the right you go downhill till the pebbly shore of the Marano that has an attractive rainpark. You get along the banks of the river on the right and look for the sign for Vallecchio going into a dirt patch and from here you meet a steep climb that brings you to the provincial road connecting Montescudo and Rimini. Here you turn left and after 100 mt. you turn right for Valliano that you reach through a nice descent, asphalted but bumpy. On the left, a dirt patch get us to S. Savino, then on the left to Coriano, where in 8 km on asphalt road you reach Rimini. Those who want to shorten the tour can either go back to the Park of Marano, or do it afterwards from Montescudo road. |
