Ravenna was appointed World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Ravenna also gathers plenty of enchanting natural settings: the Park of the Po Delta and Classe's Pinewood Forest are outstanding natural oases which provide the ideal habitat for rare species of animals and birds, while the fascinating lagoons of the Lidos of Ravenna cherish fascinating spots and sweeping views, Not to be missed are Cervia's Park of the Salt Pans, which is situated few kilometres far from Ravenna, and the exciting itineraries which cross the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.

Ravenna is home to Mirabilandia. The largest funfair in Europe is situated few kilometres far from the city, and is easily accessible by car, train and bus.
