Since the moment Rimini and Riccione inaugurated their modern Congress Centres, the Riviera Romagnola has turned into the capital of events, conventions and congresses. The presence of the internationally renowned Rimini's Exhibition Centre bears witness to the fact the Riviera is getting ready to realize ambitious projects.

Rimini's Congress Centre, which was inaugurated in September 2010, is the largest conference building in Italy (38.000 square meters). Designed by the architect Volkwin Marg from Hamburg's Studio GMP, it is one of the most lively Italian centres for culture, music, trade shows and business. Situated in Rimini, an amazing cultural city which attracts large numbers of tourists every year, the local Congress Palace is a welcoming structure featuring modern services and state-of-the-art technologies.

Riccione's Congress Centre is an appreciated conference building. Its futuristic structure, which is covered with large panels which change colour at night, looks like a fascinating colourful chameleon. It is the venue for large numbers of events, such as important shows, trade fairs, congresses and conventions. PalaRiccione, which is situated one kilometre far from the city centre and a short distance from the beach, is surrounded by excellent restaurants, clubs, shops, supermarkets and discos.

Rimini and Riccione are situated in the heart of the Riviera Romagnola, and are easily accessible from almost everywhere in Italy. The A14 Motorway runs along the whole southern part of the Riviera, and connects it with Ancona and Pescara, Bologna, Florence and Milan; Rimini's railway station is one of the largest in the Adriatic Coast; Federico Fellini Airport, which is situated halfway between Rimini and Riccione, is provided with excellent bus and taxi connections; and Marina di Rimini harbour plays a fundamental role as well.
